Residents in Mid Devon are being asked to share their views about services provided by Mid Devon District Council. A new residents’ survey is now open for six weeks for you to share your views and priorities for the Council. The results will feed into the Council’s budget setting process, as well as future plans for prioritising services. Deadline for responses is the 8th December. Mid Devon District Council has received a number of complaints from Willand residents with respect to the public litter bins, which are being used to dispose of household waste, either inside of the bin or alongside the bins.

Willand Community Composting Scheme is run by a small and friendly group of volunteers. Their mission is to protect the natural environment by reducing waste to landfill by composting; proceeds from the sale of compost can support local causes.
