WILLAND RESIDENTS, YOU DECIDE – Your Parish, Your Future

All villagers eligible to vote will have received their polling cards for the village referendum that takes place on THURSDAY, 27 FEBRUARY.

This is your one and only opportunity to vote for, or against, the proposed Neighbourhood Plan that has been put together over the last few years with feedback from villagers.

It is a strategy document and isn’t intended to tackle general day-to-day issues, which will be tackled separately. The aim of the Plan broadly is to shape a vision of how the residents, want the village to be for years to come. It covers these topics:-

  •  Sustainable Development
  • Community
  • Green infrastructure
  • Transport, Accessibility and Connectivity
  • Economy and employment
  • Heritage
  • Housing

If you want to read more detail, please go to https://www.middevon.gov.uk/residents/planning-policy/neighbourhood-planning/willand-neighbourhood-plan/ . The Plan is lengthy but there is an index so that you can select the topics that interest you more.

If you have any questions, please contact Cllr Stephen Little: [email protected] , 07795 821476.

Once it is adopted, a Neighbourhood Plan becomes a legal plan and helps the residents shape their village in the future.
